I HATE WHEN THIS HAPPENS!!!
minding my own business, checking out the garages and underground spaces aroung the street (aka my property) that the neighbours around here (aka the squatters) dutifully leave open at my request for extra playground space and as a matter of courtesy to me (aka the boss) & WHAM! they shut the door on me assuming I'm done for the day. Without checking! argh! these days you cant sack empoyees when they are not doing their job properly - you have to go to the trouble of designing an action plan explaining it to them and agreeing that performance will improve and all that. Too much effort considering i only allow 30 mins for "other things" in my daily schedule.
At first it's okay, cos i'm still happy playing & the "rent payers" havn't noticed its past my so-called "come in time" (this is a creation of their need to feel like they are a responsible pet owner) and alls good till i realise I CANT GET OUT #?!@$% !!! & even then i'm okay till i realise i'm hungry and the rent payers have quit going round the block a million times calling out to me just when i'm ready to stop pretending i dont know that they are calling me.
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IT'S HAPPENED - FAR OUT - I HATE WHEN THIS HAPPENS!!!
Last time it was the neighbour up the road's storage centre under the house, tonight was over the road's garage.
Luckily guilt always sets in when the rent payers imagine me flat out on the road (as if i don't know how to manipulate the bitumen) and they come out again bellowing my name & whistling. I had to scream because i can never be sure they have heard me and i'm sooooooooooooooooooooo hungry. i freaked out when they hesitated at knocking on the neighbours door at 10pm that they would actually consider not get them out to open the garage. so i chuckedapsycho & they rightly sided with knocking on the door. I felt a bit bad when i realised it was an older lady (and my wacko boarders kncking on the door at 10pm) but surely she realises the mistake of not checking Beto was not stuck inside.
Even luckier for the rent payers they had a home cooked can meal ready for me afte my big ordeal.
The action plan will be a big hassle. i am sure she has learned her lesson. i'll let it go... this time... Besides she was sweet about it all, i could tell she had realised she had mucked up. Time to erect a sign with the rules i think. a very typical council thing to do, i'm sure it will go down well in my council area. *YAWN* i'll put the "sign" on the agenda for other days.
