AZRAEL

well, it's happened again. they arent around so i'm stuck inside. anyway I've found a cool cat called AZRAEL who stars in the "SMURFS" cartoon/ comic. I find a lot in common with him in terms of he hates the smurfs and wants to eat them, and those stupid birds annoy me and i want to eat them. I understand how he feels, totally.

Actually, I havnt seen any episodes and i've only skimmed through comics available on the site and some blurbs etc, but I can see where he is comming from. If you look at the animation below, you'll see what I mean... just replace the orange cat with a black cat and the smurfs with the stupid birds in Lauramont and there you have it.

Now, I was a bit disheartened when I read the blurb on the Smurfs' homepage about Azrael as it describes him as follows:

"This mangy cat is Gargamel’s ‘underdog’. He follows Gargamel around hoping someday his master will catch a nice and appetizing little Smurf, but in vain. Azrael is stupid and evil….. like his master." (www.smurfs.com)

So I read that and realise Azrael is nothing like me. But then I realised, that the Smurf's homepage would have been written by the stupid smurf's so of course they would write that, wouldnt they. I bet in the smurf town they made all cats wear cruddy collars with bells all over them so they could hear Azrael from a mile away and thus able to get a head start. It's always the way. The world is CATIST and I think this social problem needs to be addressed. "Cats kill native birds" blah blah blah... "Cats kill the smurfs" blah blah blah... it's all rigged. And because of this, Azrael has been clearly misunderstood.

I encourage you all to write to those cruddy little smurfs at info@smurf.com and file a complaint regarding their CATIST attitude. They need to get into the 21st century:
